Professor David Ball CFIOSH

An internationally-renowned expert in risk management with high-level qualifications and over 30 years of experience in the management of public safety.

He has acted as consultant for most government departments and safety regulators, and for several international agencies on safety issues.

He has been personally appointed by several Secretaries of State to lead risk assessment projects of national significance or participate on independent national advisory committees.

He is regularly invited to speak at national and international conferences on safety, and in 2017 was appointed as the UK delegate to an International Standards Organisation (ISO) Working Group which is developing a new ISO for the assessment of leisure-related risks.

Dr Laurence Ball Msc TechIOSH CIMSPA

Laurence has worked in the risk field for over 15 years and holds a PhD in Risk Management from King's College London. His interests include sports, leisure and adventure activities, as well as risk-benefit assessment. 

Kieran Ball MSc

Kieran is a qualified accountant and award-winning social entrepreneur with an MSc in Risk Management from Middlesex University.

He specialises in financial risk management, and has published research on the Implications of lender values for risk management in the microfinance industry in the International Journal of Economics and Finance.
